Travel restrictions in the UK and worldwide are beginning to ease, and many people are looking to catch up on missed holidays from the past 12 months, as well as those who need to travel for work! Airlines are taking every precaution to keep their passengers safe, but travelling privately offers an unrivalled protection, as well as a number of additional benefits to commercial travel at the moment.

Safety

Have a read of our post about the additional measures we’re taking to ensure the safety of all of our passengers for their trips.

There has been an increase in passengers travelling in first and business class for long haul flights, due to improved separation from other passengers in the cabin for the duration of the flight. Flying privately means that only the people in your party are in the cabin, so completely removes the risk of being surrounded by other groups of people who could test positive in the days following the flight.

Flying privately also allows you to access your aircraft via the private aviation FBO, avoiding the crowds in the main terminal. This means less contact with passengers, fewer touchpoints with all security checks (with luggage and passport checks), and significantly less time spent in the terminal as you only need to arrive 20-30 minutes prior to departure.

More routes available by Private Jet

With international travel almost entirely halted for a significant portion of the last year, airlines are operating at a reduced capacity and have had to focus on keeping business routes open rather than holiday destinations. Even as restrictions start to lift, it’s likely that not all routes will be open for some time. For example, there are currently no direct flights between Manchester and New York, when there previously were. Using a private jet not only allows you to utilise smaller, private airfields that reduce your journey time at either end, but also means you aren’t restricted to the airlines and which routes they prioritise re-opening.
